An illustrated project focused on sharing stories of community and the power of love through art.

I have always been a creator. From the time I was a young girl, I have dreamed up ideas and found something inside to help me bring them to life. I am astonished by the agony of what is happening in our worldwide pandemic and social distress and the dichotomy of the light that shines through people’s hearts as they are challenged to show up, give, love other and especially what comes from the creative community.

In 2021, I was awarded a grant (see below) to help me create a new collection of work during this time. In conjunction with the artwork, my desire was to share the process in forms of video and words as well as create prints and a book that shares the artwork in a way for people to further engage. It is my hope that by sharing my process of creation with my community during these unexplainable times - we can maintain connection, hope, love, and encouragement to keep creating.

The Wildly Loved collection is devoted to sharing stories surrounding the idea of sisterhood and friendship. And in that showing that there’s a safe place for us in community near and far.

All available art prints and books featuring the new collection of artwork for this project can be shopped at the link below.

**Please note: Limited copies of the artist book are available for purchase upon request. Please email orders@spoonfuloffaith.com to request a copy.

Without the help and contributions of those below this project would not be made possible.

Jena Holliday is a fiscal year 2021 recipient of a Creative Support for Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation by the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Finally, many thanks to my beloved family, friends, supporters and local community who have continued to support my work and inspire me to hold on to the importance of my voice, style and contribution so that I can continue to use my artwork to uplift others and do good.
